Safety first
An electronic interlock prevents the lid release button from being used while the rotor is in motion. The Kestrel has an indicator light that signals when the rotor has stopped, allowing the lid to be opened safely. An override key is included for emergency situations.
Ease of use
The centrifuge is equipped with a maintenance-free, brushless drive. A range of tubes can be used in the Kestrel centrifuge.
Practicality
Weighing just 4.5 kg, the Kestrel centrifuge is easy to carry between laboratories or use for off-site research. Its compact design makes it perfect for labs where space is limited.
Reliability
MSE has more than 80 years of experience in the industry. Each centrifuge is extensively tested for reliability before being dispatched from the MSE factory.
Versatility
The rotor is designed to minimize noise and vibration during operation, even at maximum speed. With speeds up to 6000 RPM, it produces only 56dB(A) of noise.
