Vacuum control valve maintains the set vacuum level.
The vacuum break valve introduces air into the system when power to the freeze dryer or vacuum pump is lost. If the power outage lasts less than 5 minutes, the freeze dryer will restart, and the refrigeration and vacuum systems will resume. If the outage exceeds 5 minutes and the collector warms above safe limits, the freeze dryer will not restart automatically.
