SQUARE ECO Autoclave

Designed with price and efficiency in mind, the SQUARE ECO Autoclave delivers all the functionality of Astell's standard circular range of autoclaves, but with increased usable capacity due to a square chamber design. The ECO range is designed for water efficiency, with Autofill and Autodrain options fitted as standard, and reduced power consumption thanks to 16 kW in-chamber heaters across the range.

The SQUARE ECO Autoclave is the ideal research-grade, square-chambered autoclave. These units can sterilize nearly all autoclavable materials commonly used in laboratories: from instruments and glassware, to discard and liquids. While they are not suitable for drying fabrics, their manual door design makes them the simplest option in the square chambered autoclave line.

This model is available in four different chamber sizes (125, 216, 250 and 360 litres). The 360-litre SQUARE ECO unit is only suitable for fluid loads!

Standard safety features of the SQUARE ECO Autoclave:

• Over-temperature protection, a cooling lock, a safety valve test program, and an emergency stop button

• The door mechanism is safety-linked, meaning a cycle cannot start until the door is properly closed, and it cannot be opened until the pressure and temperature within the chamber are at a safe level

• The door seal is resistant to both steam and vacuum, ensuring an effective seal without trapping or entangling any foreign material

• The doors are thermally insulated to ensure the surface temperature remains safe, preventing any potential hazard to operators
