Dry Evaporation Systems
The RapidVap N2 Evaporation Systems provide an efficient, automated alternative to Kuderna-Danish and rotary evaporators, suitable for use with a wide range of aggressive chemicals.
Stream of nitrogen or dry gas
These systems use a stream of nitrogen or dry gas directed onto the sample surface to lower the partial pressure and speed up evaporation. Nitrogen can be directed to 2, 4, 6, or all 8 tube positions as needed.
Vortex motion and dry heat can also be applied to further accelerate solvent removal.
Up to eight large samples
The block holds up to eight large samples, each with a volume of up to 450 milliliters, making it ideal for environmental and residue testing.
An accessory block is also available for eight 170 milliliter tubes, suitable for solid phase extraction. In many of these applications, samples should not be evaporated to dryness.
Unique Cool-Zone block
The unique Cool-Zone block and tube design significantly slows evaporation once the end point is reached. This insulation gives researchers more time to remove samples or perform solvent exchange before dryness occurs.
Built-in alarms signal when the set time has elapsed and when the system senses that evaporation is nearly complete, enabling safe, unattended operation.
Features of the evaporation systems
