RapidVap N2/48 Evaporation System uses nitrogen blowdown, vortex motion, and heat to quickly evaporate up to 48 small samples or eight 450 mL samples at once. Nitrogen or dry gas is directed downward onto the sample surface, reducing the partial pressure and speeding up evaporation.
These systems are ideal for preparing samples in drug development, bioresearch, combinatorial chemistry, environmental testing, forensics, and toxicology.
The system features eight clusters, each with six ports. Nitrogen can be delivered to 2, 4, 6, or 8 clusters at once, conserving nitrogen when a full load isn't needed. Microprocessor-controlled vortex motion increases surface area for faster evaporation and ensures continuous mixing to maximize recovery.
The dry block heating method provides a more reliable alternative to water baths, which can be maintenance-intensive and prone to contamination.
