RapidVap Vertex Dry Evaporator

Using dry heat and nitrogen blow down, the RapidVap® Vertex™ Dry Evaporator accelerates evaporation of up to 50 samples simultaneously.

A convenient touchpad makes it easy to program time and temperature. The microprocessor can store up to ten different programs for consistent protocols.

Unlike water bath heaters, the dry block heater requires less maintenance, needs no distilled water or additives, and eliminates potential sources of contamination.

The RapidVap Vertex is ideal for small sample volumes. It contains multiple blocks for a variety of tube sizes and is portable.

Applications

The RapidVap® Vertex™ Evaporator is ideal for preparing samples in a wide range of applications, including drug discovery, clinical analysis, environmental testing, agrochemistry, and forensic evidence processing.

 

Features of the Dry Evaporator

Dry heat, no water bath

• Dry heat offers several advantages: less maintenance, no rust, no condensation, and no risk of cross-contamination.

Microprocessor-controlled heater

• Supplies heat to the block and is programmable from 30°C to 100°C in 1°C increments.

Nitrogen pressure regulator 

• Controls the nitrogen pressure delivered to the samples. It displays pressure from 0 to 45 psi.

Temperature sensor 

• Monitors block or sample temperature.

Fast evaporation

• With nitrogen blow down and heat.

Nitrogen control 

• Each switch controls nitrogen flow to one of five rows of nozzles, conserving nitrogen during partial runs.

Five rows of 10 nozzles 

• Deliver nitrogen to up to 50 samples simultaneously.

Angled samples 

• Increases surface area for faster evaporation and better recovery.

Compact benchtop design

• Small footprint fits in tight spaces.

LCD Display
