Benchtop autoclave with drying

The benchtop autoclave with drying is specifically designed to sterilize and dry wrapped items commonly used in healthcare, dental, and veterinary clinics. They offer sterilization for instruments and glassware with the added benefit of hot air drying and are available in three sizes (33, 43, and 63 litres).

These autoclaves are suitable for the sterilization of:

• Wrapped surgical packs

• Autoclavable peel packs

• Sterilization pouches

• Wrapped and unwrapped metal surgical instruments

• Unwrapped glassware

• Pouched hand tools

It's important to use only medical accessories, such as sterilization wraps, pouches, chemical indicators, and biological indicators with this autoclave. Fluid or discard loads are not recommended.

Its larger size compared to most Class B autoclaves provides more sterilization space, allowing for the processing of more items at once or for larger wrapped instruments that may not fit in a standard Class B autoclave.

This autoclave is plug-and-play, requiring only desktop space and a nearby domestic plug socket for installation, no plumbing needed.

Ecofill systeem

Astell’s Ecofill system ensures that water is only present in the sterilization chamber when needed, storing it in the Ecofill reservoir when not in use. This creates a drier chamber environment at the end of the cycle. The process involves circulating hot, filtered air around the autoclave chamber after the sterilization stage, with water returned to the Ecofill reservoir.

This makes them one of the most energy-efficient autoclaves available. Thanks to the pressure vessel, the absolute minimum amount of water is used during a sterilization cycle. This not only means lower power consumption but also very quick heating and cooling.
