Thanks to Compact Super Hybrid Sensor (C-SHS) technology, A&D has reduced the size of its precision balance by 25% compared to previous models. This smaller footprint makes it perfect for use in confined or limited spaces without sacrificing performance.

High-speed weighing with 1-second stabilization

The C-SHS combines the strengths of magnetic force restoration and single-point parallelogram load sensing technologies. This fusion enables ultra-fast stabilization in just 1 second while maintaining excellent span stability. As a result, the FX-i series boosts both productivity and efficiency in your workflow.

Guarded against accidental overloading

An internal shock absorber protects the C-SHS from the adverse effects of vertical and transverse overloading. This feature is particularly valuable when the balance is integrated into automated weighing systems. Actuator malfunctions could otherwise impact performance.

Multiple units of measure

You can easily select from various weighing units including: g, oz, lb, lb-oz, ozt, ct, mom, dwt, gr, pcs (for counting mode), % (for percent mode), and a user-programmable unit for specific conversion needs. Additionally, one more unit, tl, tol, or N, can be added upon request.

For documentation requirements, the balance can output key details such as the manufacturer, model, serial number, ID number, date and time, space for signature for the calibration report, a calibration test report, and title and end blocks for a series of weighing results.

Statistical calculation function (SCF)

The balance can display and output statistical calculation data including the number of data points, sum, maximum, minimum, range (maximum–minimum), average, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation. This makes it easy to analyze measurement results.

Adjustable response characteristics and hold function
