Console Freeze Dryers with Stoppering Tray Dryers

Console Freeze Dryers with integrated Stoppering Tray Dryers are designed for lyophilizing and stoppering vials or serum bottles under vacuum. The console includes a front viewing window and interior space for a vacuum pump (sold separately).

The upright stainless steel collector coil holds your selected ice capacity. Two ¾ horsepower HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration systems cool the collector to -84 °C, making it suitable for low eutectic point samples, including acetonitrile.

Equipped with a separate HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration system and a 1000-watt heater.

Vacuum release valve control
Vents the chamber, allowing the door to be safely opened.

Stoppering knob
Manually controls the shelf stoppering mechanism.

Three RTD sensor probes
Monitor the temperature of the samples.

1/8" OD backfill port
Allows introduction of inert gas into the chamber from an external source to protect samples from moisture or contamination.

Pre-freeze samples
Anneals samples directly on the shelves, improving quality and eliminating the need for separate freezing and transfers.

Three large adjustable shelves
Suitable for bulk trays or batches of serum bottles or ampules. Lyophilization and stoppering take place directly on the shelves.

Optional built-in 6-port Tray Dryer Manifold
Increases flexibility and throughput. Allows simultaneous freeze drying in flasks or other glassware. Also available as a field-installable upgrade.

Optional built-in isolation valve
Separates the Stoppering Tray Dryer from the Freeze Dryer to minimize vacuum recovery time and allow endpoint testing. Also available as a field-installable option.
